Lovely sketch. Works well.

Lovely tribute Fiona.

Fiona this is excellent and very moving, I find this time of year difficult having lost friends.

Very poignant, as is your description, Fiona.

Very moving, Fiona. My dad's older brother was killed and his name is on the Menin gate. Ralph and I are the only family visitors to have visited, it was very emotional. Unfortunately my dad had died before we were able to trace him and visit.

Lovely Fiona. God rest all those innocent souls who never wanted to be there anyway.

A beautiful and moving tribute, Fiona.

Good sketch Fiona, thank you.

Well done Fiona. We just watched the annual ceremony at The Albert Hall, very moving as always.

A touching tribute Fiona - Lest we Forget

Indeed this is so powerful

A perfect tribute Fiona.

That's so beautiful Fiona and a lovely tribute x

A stunner Fiona

Touching tribute Fiona, I am from an Army family and we have all served, my Paternal Grandfather was at the Somme and my father and brothers in conflicts ever since, thankfully all survived but some have now passed on and are remembered on the 11th. Thank you for a wonderful tribute to all past and present who served the colours.

Thank you all for your respect and remembrance of all casualties of conflicts, whilst we remember their sacrifice they will always live on. I’m sure most of us have family members that served, were wounded, killed in action in past wars. My grandad served in the Sherwood Foresters regiment (Notts & Derby) joined up Oct 1914 and was discharged wounded Oct 1918. Served on the western front where he was wounded. He was very lucky to spend four years in the thick of it and get away with being wounded. My father served in the Royal Navy joined at the age of 15, served through the Second World War, in the Middle East, Palestine, North Atlantic convoys, and Dunkirk.

Brilliant work and narrative Fiona.

Thank you very much Christine and Michael, much appreciated.

Very poignant Fiona.

So evocative Fiona.

Powerful and moving, Fiona. It says everything.

Thank you ladies, glad you feel the emotion of it.

A beautiful tribute Fiona, a great reminder of the tragedies of wars, also conflicts in the name of religions.

....one name I do know is Sgt. Duncan Ferguson, 8th BTN. Black Watch, born and enlisted in Greenock. Killed in action 14/7/1916 High Wood, Somme. A friend gave me his service medal years ago. I don’t know if he has any family, or if they remember him on the 11th November, I remember him, together with the fallen and casualties of all conflicts.
