Alan Bickley

Biography
Having studied fine art and graphics at both Stafford and Derby college, my career working as a graphic artist and latterly as editorial artist with Northcliffe Media Ltd, has kept me constantly in touch with all aspects of art and design. Painting mainly in oils, acrylics and watercolour, my aim is to maintain and develop an impressionistic style which I try and portray in my landscape and architectural paintings. Now retired and away from the stress of deadlines, I have plenty of time to pursue my life-long hobby and continue to experiment with different techniques, medium and subjects. A four-time award winner at the TAPC Open annual exhibition at Patchings, also a contributing feature writer for The Artist magazine.
