Very well done Fiona. It looks over powering the white. Takes something from the good ink work. The stone fence on the left for example would have been great with some pen work to it. That’s my thought about it. And I feel it’s the kind of feedback you look for. A good composition that’s for sure.

The paper makes a great background Fiona, I would never have thought of using brown paper, and it works brilliantly. Love the use of the white gouache, great sketch.

Yes John, I take your point ref too much white, I think I may try to do some pen work over the top of some of it, and maybe, as you suggest add more pen work to the lefthand wall.
