Always recognisable, always excellent Fiona. Lovely.

Thank you Jim, you are very kind.

Love this lively work Fiona. Sums up the weather here today as well!

Oh dear's miserable isn't it. Thanks very much!

That's great Fiona, I love it !!!

Smashing painting, Fiona, this one is very great, the shadows are fabulous.

Love your bold use of colour! Another lovely piece.

I love this Fiona, the ink and watercolour work wonderfully well together.

lovely work again I thought maybe they were swallows getting ready for the off

If it is any consolation, Fiona , it is raining here in Wanganui as well. A very lively and exuberant piece more cheerful than the weather.

Love the bright foreground...and then the bleakness of the rest. Typical English Summer! Love it though..

Thank you very much Linda, Cesare, Keith, Barry, Margaret, Dennis for your lovely comments, they are much appreciated.

Mike thanks very much, sorry you are enduring the same conditions. I shouldn't be miserable about it raining really because it always gives me the opportunity to paint. Thank you Anne, it's been our summer here at least. What are you implying Pete, that I'm bleak and miserable?! Lol! Thank you for your comment x

Like it Fiona, beautiful colours

Thank you very much David and Gudrun!

Lovely fresh watercolour love the colours too.

Beautiful Fiona. Full of vitality and interest.

Lots of lively brush strokes and subtle colour makes this a winner in my eyes Fiona.

Thanks very much David, Avril, Sarah.....for your feedback.

You've really caught the miserable weather Fiona :)

Thanks Val, is yours the same?

Wonderful vibrant textures and lovely palette, Fiona.

Hang on Studio Wall

12x9 watercolour and ink. Did this in pastel a few days ago....and what do you know, I have the same view ......again! This was done quickly and I've tried to make it look bleak and squally......I think the starlings are as fed of the weather as I am.
