I love the colours in this Fiona. I really like the loose way you have painted it with just enough detail to add interest. I know exactly what you mean about sometimes struggling to get going with art. I am going through that at the moment.

David thank you for your lovely feedback. I feel for you, it isn’t easy to get going again and I found the longer I left it the less inclined I was to start anything. I piled all my favourite art books up and spent a couple of hours flicking through……surprising how it gives you the inspiration. Hope you find your motivation soon!

A gorgeous piece to mark your return, Fiona! Love the contrast of the soft merging washes and the hard lines and edges of the foreground trees and fence. They really lend so much atmosphere and energy to the painting.
