Just wonderful Alan, love this oil painting and the little detail of the white sails that pull your eyes through into the far distance, magical.

You've got to know your subject inside out before you can employ the imagination fully, and you quite obviously do. I can see this on my wall, but it deserves a better home and setting than I could offer it. The light here is perfectly caught.
