I like the meandering Thames Alan.

I like it a lot, but maybe boat skippers/rowers etc don't like that sharp right..or left..turn

Well you achieved what you set out to. A great sense of atmosphere , carries the the painting through its simplicity of shapes and colours. A nice brooding scene well painted as usual.

Thanks all once again, appreciated as always. That's how the river looked Derek, and I did think about a few boats and things but decided to keep it uncluttered, not wanting to spoil the S shape of the river, which is an integral part of the overall scene. Thanks for your observations, always welcome of course.
