Another beautiful monochrome, Alan. I like much the sparkling water.

Very grand Alan. So different from your sunny, vibrant seascapes but equally majestic. Love the dappled light on the river.

That's another good one Alan, good recession with the various greys.

I love your use of white paint in this pen & wash sketch - it really gives the image some punch!

Excellent with the various shades of grey and super sparkly water!

Hang on Studio Wall

My third and final attempt at the challenge. Black ink with two shades of grey, plus a splash of white gouache. A4 Grey paper which acts as a third tonal grey. From my own zoomed-in photo, taken during my recent visit to the RA.
