Thanks Paul. It would probably be quicker…..and cheaper….for me to make a nine hour round trip! Thank you for the wow Marjorie…lol….think I may have over done it with the pinky/purple!

I love it, Fiona! The relatively simple landscape can take the dramatic sky. The variety of hard and soft edges in the sky are tempting me to get my watercolours out again. The distant hills are tantalisingly almost disappearing into the cloud, the stumpy (probably hawthorn) bushes and the fence posts are perfectly placed and I love the way the middle-ground hedges merge with the snow. The purplish shadows are beautiful and the three increasingly narrow triangles of snow lead the eye into the distance. It's an absolute gem!
