Out Of The Blue!

Comments

This is another lovely monoprint Fiona, love the blues.

The foil bits are meant to be Glaciers, if you were wondering what on earth they are….

David, that was quick! Thank you, yes, I’m fond of the turquoise blue, it’s cool enough for this I think.

Another beauty, Fiona. I love your unusual style!

Nice one again Fiona, yes, it would have added interest and created a positive focal point! It’s not too late…

I meant to add - monoprints can include hand painted additions! I’m sure that you know that…

Thanks Alan, I thought it may have overloaded the whole thing by adding the bird. I should have left the left hand pillar out instead, perhaps. I do yes Alan, I’ve added a touch of oil crayon in parts in this, darkened up the foreground water……for a bit of tonal scale…..your favourite! Thanks for the encouragement and advice Al.

Another surprise from you Fiona. Your art work knows no boundaries. Certainly out of the blue. Works well.

Love the colours in this, I'm trying to picture how the bird would have looked. Lovely either way.

I was drawn to this immediately. I think it was the colours that attracted me.

Lovely maritime image Fiona.

Love the foil effect Fiona, colours and marks great. Yes add your birdie!

Good one Fiona, I think a cormorant would work too.

Lovely colour mono print

There are multiple narratives within this painting which arouse interest in the viewer Fiona. You are doing weird and wonderful things with all these different papers, keep them coming.

A very creative image - gorgeous blues!

Many thanks for your support of my prints, it’s appreciated very much. I may add…..by popular demand ……a birdie!

Beautiful colours in this one, Fiona, very effective piece!

Thanks Thalia!

A lovely monoprint, Fiona.

10”x8” oil and foil monoprint on Okra paper. I very nearly added a cormorant/shag drying its wings on the rocks bottom right……pushing a bit with that idea I think.
