Garlieston Boats

Rather good idea! Simplicity wins once again - well done…

I like the simplicity of this Fiona . It’s so nice to see things done simply, I tend to work in detail and have to stop myself from adding more .

Love the blueness and quirkiness of this Fiona. A very jolly piece of art.

Like it a lot

Just finished watching the sailing in the Olympics. And these are even better. So you win Gold too.

Simple but so effective! Love it!!

Thank you very much Alan, Paul….wish I could do detail like yourself…..Carole, Romila, Michael…..his sailing days are over now, I never took to it! Lol…..thanks Chris, and David. Thanks again

This is lovely Fiona, love the shapes and the way it has all come together

Love this Fiona! Choppy sea and jaunty little boats, the colours are great.

This is really lovely Fiona. Very stylish.

I really like the textural quality of the print and the design works well.

Wow Fiona I love this. Glorious use of blue.

The blue textured background works so well for the stylized boats - lovely, Fiona!

I am enjoying your prints Fiona, no idea how you produce them, but they are very effective and I love your colours and design here.

Love the touch of orange to draw the eye in.

Beautiful so love the blue 💙

I love this, Fiona. The minimalist look is just perfect.

Thank you all for your lovely comments and feedback, always appreciated.

A life on the ocean wave! Great print Fiona, reminds me of a Cornwall artist Ben Nicholson?

Ooooo….Carole, I take that as a huge compliment. I love his work but I also love the boat themed work of Terry Frost. I did something similar to his piled up boats picture a couple of years ago, as a print. I kept the templates that I used and have used some of them in this print. Thank you VERY much!

Nicely balanced work - I like this

Thank you very much Colin, very kind of you to comment.

What a great image Fiona - would look good on any wall.

Many thanks Shaun.

Thanks Shirley!

12”x10” oil monoprint and collage on blue pastel paper. A kind of semi abstract jumble of boat shapes, inspired by my walk from Garlieston harbour.
