A lovely loose painting, love your choice of colours and the wispy looking mountain. Looks like rain clouds flowing over the tops. Excellent work Fiona.

Great washes again Fiona, certainly looks like a wet afternoon, nice and sunny here today after a dismal day yesterday 👍😀

Great loose style and I love the effect in the sky

Your looseness and deft touch gives it a magical feel as usual it’s lovely Fiona.

I like this one a lot Fiona.

Paul, if it looks like this over the hills, I don’t bother hanging my washing out! Thank you for your lovely comment. Thank you Linda. We’ve had a bright but blustery day here.....the temperatures but are certainly dropping. Thank you Hilary, very kind of you. Barry, a lovely thing to say thank you. Thank you Jim, appreciate your comment.

I love your impressionistic style, Fiona. This is great!

Lovely work, Fiona.

Anotherlovely loose watercolour Fiona. Like it.

Lovely painting

Love that loose look of rain and mist Fiona, and especially the softness of the foreground.

Beautiful loose watercolour Fiona.

I love the way you do these Fiona.

Another gem, Fiona. I love the spontaneity and freshness of this style that you create.

Thank you very much everyone for your kind and generous comments, you are very kind.

Great job here Fiona! I particularly like the little touch of the left mountain bleeding into the sky (probably by accident!), and I would have liked to see the same on the other one, rather than a hard edge...

Beautifully captured, Fiona.

Marks you can read to understand the story, for lovers of the countryside the scene speaks out from the semi abstract forms, love it, nice one Fiona.

Love your loose style and economy of brushstrokes. Nice one Fiona.

Again Fiona. Great spontaneity and colours,

You know how I feel about your work and again you come up trumps! Another impressionistic painting that says so much with so little, I wish I could do this, some people think it’s easy painting in a loose style but it takes skill and a lot of thought and this is so well executed. Superb!❤️

Michael, that would make a great song! Thank you x It’s all by accident Alan.....slosh it on! Thank you darling. Many thanks Jenny. Malcolm, what a lovely comment, thank you. Many thanks Tim, you’re very kind. Thanks very much Richard! William, you say the loveliest of things about my paintings, thank you x

This has to be the one freshest watercolours I've seen for a while. Brilliant Fiona.

Bold and beautiful Fiona. Such good colour and so well painted!

Beautiful wet in wet loose painting Fiona

Good loose landscape, Fiona.

Thank you Cesare.

Like the impressionistic, loose style, Fiona

Maureen, thank you very much!

This is why I love watercolour and this is what I hope to achieve when I pick up a brush....one day. The edges are wonderful.

Judith, don’t give up! Lol. Every one is a practice.....that’s my theory anyway. Thank you for your very kind comment.

Beautiful - I'm missing the Galloway countryside and definitely jealous of your gorgeous views!

Thank you Margaret, will you be able to make any trips here before the end of the year? We’ve had some wonderful sunny days....it can’t last....lol.

Again....thank you very much Dennis.

12” x 12” watercolour in Waterford sketchbook. I never get tired of painting this view across the Carse and Cree estuary towards Cairnsmore, and every time it’s different. This looks like a snow scene but it’s wet fields after a shower in weak Autumn sunshine.
