A lovely still life Fiona. There are some lovely,warm colours in it.

It is a really good still life, Fiona - I tried Avocado once and didn't like it but I like your painting!

I particularly like the subtlety of colours on the cloth Fiona.

Healthy eating but unpleasant taste on its own! Avocado I’m referring to…it’s the best painted of the trio, excellent in fact…but we’ve had this conversation before. I still think the lemon needs more shades of yellow, darker shades in particular and a sheen on the aubergine… obtained by mixing lighter variations of the purple. Cloth is good, but needs cropping a touch more on the R/H side… An attractive piece nonetheless, I’m nitpicking again as usual.

Michael thank you for your observations ref the lemon and aubergine, I know it still needs attention but I know it won’t get it! 😂 I didn’t like avocados but tasted them a few years ago and wondered why I hadn’t taken to it , love the taste now. Many thanks Romila, comment.
