Love the sparseness and the excellent brushwork Dixie

I like this very much!

Another very good one!

And… better than any spammer can post! Really good atmospheric snow scene Paul…less is more, every time!

This is very effective. The tree is beautifully done and the painting very atmospheric.

Really good Paul.

Beautifully painted Paul.

Thank you all for your very kind comments. I’m trying to do more of these simple painting on an evening as I find them very relaxing.

I love this Paul.

Lovely winter snow scene, Pail.

Very good Paul and a nice idea.

Like a lot Paul.

Fabulous Paul! I love parred back paintings like this…..wish I could get the same effect.

Thank you all for your comments I appreciate them. Fiona your artwork is excellent and done loosely, always a treat to see .

You should show more of these - I like the looseness of it, and it's an approach from you that we haven't really seen before. I can take or leave the idea of "looseness" in painting, but watercolour is ideal for that approach, with or without an initial pencil drawing; probably better without, maybe?

Thank you Robert I have posted another loser style of a barge that I did straight away with a rigger and half inch flat

A perfect Christmas card Paul. Love it!

Thank you Marjorie I appreciate your comment.
