Oh yes, right up my street, lovely watercolour

Always well chosen colours and the quay wall is excellent being a dry stone wall sketcher myself !!!

Thank you Heather, as you can guess boat and harbours are one of my favourite themes. Richard thank you for complement, I have seen your work and have a respect for you sketching.

Love those colours Paul and that boat is terrific, especially the rigging, which must have taken ages to complete. Well worth the effort to have produced such a lovely painting.

Lovely detail in this one Paul.

Veru good picture of a lovely harbour scene. I have so far failed in my attempts to create such a harbour scene, so I very much appreciate this one.

Thank you so much for your comments they are appreciated. Ceri it a matter of practice don’t give up, I also find I need to be in the mood to do certain types of scene.

Beautifully executed Paul. I particularly like the colour tones and I feel ready to clamber on board.

Super boat and harbour Dixie.

Thank you Mark and Tessa for you kind comments.

Nice one Paul. Lovely colours and the rigging must have taken some doing!.

Boats aren't easy and you've done this very well. It looks familiar, Where is it?

A3 watercolour, pen for rigging. Small cargo ship, similar th thousands that sail the British coasts before steam trains took over. Adapted from a b&w photo, did the rigging in pen as my hands a a bit unsteady at the moment.
