A lovely scene - very nice group of trees framing the view!

Lovely how the tree and gate lead you into the rest of the painting.

Lovely trees Paul, a nice composition too.

It's a very inviting scene Paul - don't be disheartened.

Lovely scene Paul.

You have captured the feel of going downwards and its lovely Paul, the touch of red catches the eye

Thank you all for your very encouraging comments, like most painters I get so frustrated when I make mistake then cannot see the good side of the painting . Your comment certainly make it worth posting as I was thinking of it hitting the bin but hate to waste my time and work. THANKS Folks .

You have some lovely greens Paul and the splash of red just makes it.

Heather, Ross and Cameron thank you for your kind comments. I had the red a bit more subdued originally Sylvia advised thst I make it a brighter red , such a head full of knowledge thst she is always willing to share .

Sorry I meant Spencer poor concentration I’m afraid.

Well composed piece, Paul, love the perspective!

Like this one, especially the little touch of red.

Thalia and Valerie thanks for you kind comments.

Love the texture of the tree trunks Paul, also the sense of distance.

Nicely done, Paul - and a very apt title, it draws the eye down.

Thank you Jenny I appreciate your comment.

Watercolour A4 in A3 mount , looking through the high woodland down into the valley, and imaginary scene set in spring early summer. I’m a bit disappointed as I did my usual and fiddled to much hence the look over overworked in some areas . If it would stop me fiddling I would tape my fingers together but it won’t work it never did when my hands were in splints do we never learn I wonder.
