Wonderful Paul…..yes I think it has been a good foxglove and bee year, lots of in my garden too.

Thanks Fiona I have noticed lots in the woodlands this year even I places I’ve not seen them growing before. Such beautiful majestic plants with such beautiful colours, and as for bees such wonderful creatures and so important to our lives as well.

Inspired by the bees on the foxgloves in my garden , seems to be a very good year for both. A4 watercolour paper just used a few of the flowers . I’m in the process of paint another much later version showing most of the flower spike .
