Biography

I love to play with colour and atmosphere. My passion is to capture the moment with light and colour, whether it be oils, watercolours and other media. Having lived in the countryside most of my life my emotions and feeling are with nature although whenever I visit London I am inspired by the buildings and the light across the Thames. Mainly impressionistic my work can touch on abstract as it is colour and atmosphere that absorbs me. I have exhibited my work for many years in many galleries and has participated in open studios in the Islington area and has had my work selected by the Royal Institute of oil painters in the Mall Galleries. I have also been approached by a gallery in Florence who saw some paintings they liked on Painters online.
