She's a beauty Paul

Really like this one Paul it is lovely.

That looks great, Paul. Let's hope we do see more sail in the future!!

Another great ship painting Paul. Love the detail both of the ship and the background.

Lovely. I particularly like the way you have done the rigging

Thank you for taking them time to look and comment Heather,Denis, David and Spencer your comments are very much appreciated. I do like making up these scenes , for me the hard bits are the rigging due to shaky hands, and the sea which is something I’m never very sure or confident about.

Many thank Elaine , we must have been typing at the same time . As I have said the rigging is getting more difficult but is an essential part of the scene .

Really good Paul I think you’ve done a great job on the sea

Superb sailing ship Paul and you've caught the movement in the sea so well.

Great sea billowing sails, another excellent marine painting. Think only you could fault the rigging Paul. Looks darn good to me.

Fine work again Dixie, and interesting observations in your description.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful to see this class of ship sailing the seas again, a treat for the eye and heart Paul.

Neil, Rikke, Val, Richard and Lew than you for you kind comments. Having such nice comments does give me a boost and spurs me on to do better.

It certainly would Fiona , it will take longer to get place but I do believe with modern technology it more than achievable.

Wow great work Paul. A beauty 😍

This is lovely Paul.

Thank you Faye and Denise your comment are really appreciated.

Really like this Paul. The wind in the sails make it full of movement and the rigging is great!

This is terrific Dixie. The rigging looks fine to me, and I like the gulls, the lighthouse and the feel of freedom in this.

Thank you Christine and Tessa , I would love to be out there but unfortunately I get awful seasickness.

Excellent painting of a complicated subject.

Lovely fresh feeling, I like it.

Many thanks Stephen and Valerie for thanking the time to look and comment.

Beautiful, Paul - lovely sails and rigging!

A great feeling of speed and movement with your sailing ship Paul. Another good one.

Thank you for your comment Chris and Romila.

Lovely, Paul. I like the way you have composed the painting, with the beautiful ship about to sail off. Really good.

A3 watercolour on mixed media paper , old sailing boat heading out to sea. I’m struggling with the rigging these day shaky hands , still won’t stop me trying . I do wonder if my grandchildren will see a resurgence of sailing ships in the future . I know there are attempt at making modern cargo ships wind powered , bet hey don’t look anything like this . Maybe I should title it back to the future, I’m sure someone will re invent sail, and make a fortune.
