the harbour first light

An amazing view, Alan. I sincerely hope we all view the world in a new light when this is all over.

First light and full of hope Alan.

Such a fitting tribute Alan.

Love your palette Alan and the message of optimism and light.

Wonderful light and it is beautiful!

Beautiful light Alan.

Absolutely top drawer again Alan...Turner and Seago spring to mind, Just gorgeous, and a most fitting tribute

Beautifully atmospheric, Alan, love the colours and the contrasting dark detail in the foreground.

Lovely Alan and Great supporting NHS . They are on the front line , thank you.

This is really superb, great lighting and colour.

This painting has got the lot; light, composition, skill and interest Alan.

So beautiful and uplifting Alan.

Where have you been hiding this one Alan, it’s tremendous!

Absolutely stunning Alan. Have been offline for a while, lots of catching up to do. Yours will be the first I check out.

A beautiful tribute to the work of the NHS Alan.

You're giving some 'big' names a real run for their money Alan. This one caught my eye from thumbnails. I wasn't disappointed! The brushwork is fantastic; right on the money. Is it on board or canvas by the way? :)

Thanks John, appreciated! It’s on canvas board, I prefer it to stretched canvas. I’ve started using Jackson’s canvas boards on MDF, really excellent to paint on.

Absolutely beautiful and sensitive to the times.

It's very nicely painted...
