I like yesterdays a lot, cropping it makes it look a totally different piece and I like this one as well . Just shoes that a decent piece of work can be shown in different ways and still provide an excellent looking painting. All down to being skilfully done in the beginning, this is becoming another cracking series Alan .

Thanks Paul… cropping and total revamp, nothing of the original exists.

That right hand building really stands out to me, the colour is stunning!

My eye goes straight to the arch then moves up.

Although I liked yesterday's version, this revamp does hit you right in the face. Super job.

I like both ... shame the two couldn't be kept and seen side by side

This does work better, I think - and anyway, you know best! It's a useful thing about watercolour on paper that one can crop it - I've often felt like lopping off part of an oil painting, but that's a touch difficult.

Cropped version definitely looks better!!

Interesting what you say Alan. I did not like to say at the time but I thought that sky saw not working for the image. But it could. This crop is very appealing to my eye.

Even lovelier!

I prefer this Alan.

Great use of color

Love this Alan. Strong image that holds together well and draws you in

Superb with and without Alan but as the artist you know what your really looking for.

I wasn’t happy with yesterday’s post, so I’ve done a complete revamp and cropped it! I’ve cut off the left building, but the image as a whole works better in my view.
