Alan this is so good , it’s by far the best you have produced for some time . It would look good on any wall, your choice of pallet is superb for this scene , so much to see in there .

The atmosphere in this is excellent. The tones, colours and subject are outstanding Alan.

Very good, that white sail grabs the eye immediately.

A truly beautiful oil painting, full of atmosphere and the use of white so strategically employed

Agree with Paul, so so good !!

A stunning oil painting Alan.

Very evocative of place, mood and atmosphere.

Like this very much.

That is superb, Alan! Just love how atmospheric it is!

Excellent, very evocative of a past time.

I love this Alan. A great Turneresque feel to it and super atmosphere and light.

Who else among us could have painted this? The colour is beautifully judged, the edges bleed and fade, there are areas of just pure colour without mark or detail, crisp touches of light, accurately applied.... Makes yer want to bin yer brushes!

A typical 'Bickley,' great work Alan.

Very good piece of painting Alan.

Stunning work Alan no surprises there.

A lovely oil version Alan. Must admit, I do like to see your oil paintings.

Great atmosphere, Alan. Very "Turner-ish". I love it!

Absolutely gorgeous

Very sense provoking atmosphere lifted by the beautiful white touches. Superb Alan.

Wonderful light.
