Lots Road Power Station - revamped by Alan Bickley

Industrial scenes aren’t for everyone, but I prefer them as they are more interesting to paint than landscapes.

Good before brilliant after, a really good study of the days when these huge buildings were working 24/7 to support industrial Britain . The busy Thames as it used to be , Smokey , dirty and full of activity, so different now .

Know this area so well and another very good painting and the subtle changes have worked well Alan

Nothing wrong with this scene, I know it’s not for everyone but at times you have to do something outside the box and this is a really great scene. All those reflections in the water really make this one! Top job as always.👌

It looks so interesting as you say Alan. The skyline is subtle, the smoke/steam bring it alive.
