Thank you SO much everyone - have been overwhelmed by such a great response. My husband says I couldn't have done it without him, huh! I will update my profile as have now been painting for 2.5 years. I love working with acrylics (if honest slightly frightened of trying anything else) - love blending with fingers as much as brushes and I really enjoy doing hair and eyes.

This is excellent. I really think your portraiture is of a high standard and looking at it I cannot honestly see any difference between your work, and work done by those professionals who make a living out of acrylic portraiture. Go for it!
