Very Seago - ish - I like it a lot!!

Definitely can see the source of origin, a beauty Fiona

Fabulous Fiona - I love it.

Fiona that's lush! I love the tones, all over, and the beautiful passage of light on the ground.

Gorgeous work, I like it all (and its vast). Terrific!

Love this Fiona, especially that big sky.

Lovely colour selection Fiona, and a grand big sky.

Super work Fiona, lovely painting.

David, Heather, Sarah, Shirley, Karen, Willie, Lesley, Tessa and Denise thank you very much for appreciating my poor interpretation of the great artist. I really enjoyed the thick paint and free brush strokes…..I might even have another go! Thanks again.

It’s a superb painting Fiona , you should have this framed .

Great perspective Fiona, spot on with the distance.

I don't know Seago's work but this super painting and the super sky and light "stands alone" if you know what I mean !

Thank you Paul, you are very kind. Michael I don’t have very much space on my walls, it’s full of proper artists/painters art, not mine! Thank you x Thanks Marjorie, the distant village is just dots and dashes really, I didn’t make any conscious marks apart from what is suppose to be a church tower . Many thanks Hilary and Richard…..yes I know what you mean, thank you.

A cracker Fiona- love your brushstrokes!

Love this one Fiona, a good interpretation of his work

Hmm… it’s pretty damn good Fiona! Many elements of Seago’s style and colours evident here.

Very effective Seago-ish.

Love the wide expanse of space and that wonderful passage of light on the right hand side Fiona and the sky is superb.

Great sky, Fiona.

Rachel, Neil, David, Alan, stephen, Carole, Jenny, Christine……thank you all for your lovely observations and comments, very much appreciated.

William, thank you so much!

My favourite bit of this is the land and distant view. Sorry I'm a bit behind with commenting.

16”x14” oil on paper. Having admired Alan Bickley’s interpretation of Seago’s painting style recently, it inspired me to have another look at his fabulous work. It’s a made up scene but based on his favourite elements….big skies, low horizons with distant villages and rough fenland foregrounds.
