Love that style!!

Great marks again giving energy to the picture Fiona

I like the way you have drawn and coloured this Fiona.

Gorgeous Fiona, love the different textures and the colour palette

So it’s a whin whin outcome then Fiona! Yes, you’ve achieved some simple but effective mark making, not overstated and well balanced throughout! Good job!

Love this Fiona, the newsprint transfer is inspired.

Thank you very much David! I can’t resist a few scribbly marks Stevan, thank you. Many thanks John.....keeping it simple works best for me! Thanks very much Anjana, very kind. Very good Al! 😂 thanks very much for your feedback.

Katy, thank you, glad you spotted the newsprint!

Lovely marks and colours, Fiona - and I like the elongated format. The newsprint transfer is interesting!

At first I thought it was a collage, the marks make it seem so. Another experimental success, Fiona.

I love it Fiona,

Love your combination of media and colours Fiona also the format.

I really like the pillerbox set up Fiona which suits this wild landscape so well. It’s a strong painting.

Smashing work

Lovely, keeps drawing my attention. I really like the subtle tones

Love the format and spontaneous brushstrokes Fiona. The simple palette works so well here.

An excellent presentation of mixed media, love the abstract way of presenting your thoughts, Fiona.

Thank you all very much for your kind words and support, very much appreciated. Haha Michael, you know, we don’t get many Pheasants here. Thank you.

Mark-making at its best. Love the slightly abstract feel of the piece, as well as the textures and atmosphere. Super work, as usual, Fiona!

Many thanks Paul. Seok, thank you very much for your encouraging comments.

Another really expressive painting- keep them coming Fiona.

Thank you for your encouragement Shaun!

20”x8” gesso, graphite, acrylic and newsprint transfer on watercolour paper. Two “whin’s” for the price of one here........the stone which make up the majority of the walls (dykes) around here is whinstone, gorse, is also called whin. It’s in full bloom and the smell of coconut from the flowers is wonderful....makes the mouth water.
