A23x36 cm watercolour of a old traction engine abandoned after breaking down. There are a lot of these old machines in many places around the world abandoned after they broke down beyond repair. Most can be found on former plantation, in Mozambique, Senegal etc where they are still standing rusting away. It must have been awful working them in heat without having to put up with the heat and steam. Inspired by looking at old photos on the internet, none were attributed to a particular photographer.
