I've watched this grow on the Forum Paul, you've worked hard on this one and the result is excellent.

Terrific work Paul, one of your best in my opinion. As for the insulting remark, show them this posting and all the positive comments that are sure to appear!

Carol , George , and Russell thank you for you positive comments , I’m more cross at myself for getting up tight about the remarks as it was to be expected from the person who made the comments.

It is really beautiful, Paul - the leaves are so well drawn and painted , so natural!

Everything about this is lovely Paul- I particularly like the composition and the leaves are painted beautifully. It's hard to ignore negative comments but you really should. Some people just like to think they are being frank, but more often than not it's just rudeness!

Love this Paul, such an array of leaves and autumnal colours in a lovely composition. Absolutely one of your best! Focus on all the positive comments- forget those negative ones- life is too short.

This is excellent work Paul, well done.

I really like the end result Dixie. The autumnal leaves stand out well against the background.

Thank you all for your very kind comments they are appreciated.

Autumn 🍂 fibes here Paul. Lovely very you!

This is so, so, good Paul. Great sense of place and so very topical.

It’s obvious that the remark came from from someone who doesn’t know any better Paul. Be proud of what you achieve! It’s a beautiful mix of autumn…..the misty background, the crisp golden leaves and of course the sparkling spiders web.

Faye ,Carole, Fiona and Cheryl thank you for your very kind words I really appreciate them . I’m very happy with the outcome and especially when so many people who know what they are saying points out it worth . I should have expected the comments as it’s not the first time , the person get sone pleasure fro winding others up .

One of your best Paul. Love the subject and the colours.

Thank you Marjorie I appreciate your kind comment.

A very accomplished piece Paul, the dark background really accentuates the autumn browns and reds.

This is a beautifully painted autumnal subject the colours are so rich . Anyone can see where you love to spend your time…. a forest . . Love it!

Looks even better in the mount. Who told you that you paint crap at times? No one here, surely? If it's a relative, a month of cold-shouldering might be the answer; if a friend - that's no friend.

I've followed it on the forum Paul and you have done a super job of it.

Andrew , Gillian, Robert and Denise thank you for the kind comments I appreciate them.

A4 watercolour in A3 mount , I wanted to explore the colours and have a different colour background and decided to use a photo I took several years ago strangely we had a similar colour sky last night . The stages of painting are on the forum , I rushed the end bit in anger really as I had just been told I paint some a Crap at times frustration and anger don’t do well with a painting. Anyway I content with the end result, love doing autumn colours and have done one every year for the last six or more.n
