I like all my fellow artists I work alone with the occasional sharing y work with Alan and a few close friends, it’s so very rewarding and encouraging when a painting has such good feedback. We don’t paint for praise nor except it to happen automatically but when it comes it certainly makes the effort worthwhile and makes any difficulty’s seem trivial. Sorry it’s an essay but I do want you to know how much it means to any of us when fellow artists make such lovely comments.

To me it says Yorkshire….it has a lovely atmosphere to it and the figures are just right.

I love this Paul. The limited palette is so calming and I like the suggestion of mist on the hilltops.

A beautifully painted scene Paul with such depth, you really do feel a sense of isolation, a very atmospheric piece.

You have portrayed the remoteness of the countryside very well here Paul. It must be a very grim existence in times of bad weather.

Wow, what a wonderful result Paul. When I first saw the beginning of your painting, I thought it would be a success……and it is. Great sense of depth and atmosphere, this is my kind of ideal place to live…..if it were in Scotland! 😉
