Beautiful handling of the daffodils Diana.

Beautiful

Lovely, Diana, and the deep blue of the vase contrasts so well with the yellow daffodils.

Love the naturalness of this painting Diana.

I always enjoy the freedom of your painting. Superb.

Beautifully painted Diana: love the subtle yellows and the way you’ve handled the buds.

Thank you Jill. All the beautiful spring flowers paintings in the gallery inspired me. Thank you Roger. Thank you Jenny. I agree with you about the dark vase. Thank you Carole. Quick paintings are sometimes fresher because there’s no time to start faffing about. Thank you Stephen. That’s s great compliment. Thank you Tessa. I enjoyed painting the buds more thanthe flowers.

This is fantastic, Diana.

Thank you so much Margaret,Mia and Emma. I really enjoyed painting this with a sort of freedom from responsibility.

So well painted Diana. Those daffodil stems form a lovely pattern don't they? Look good against the blue vase as well.

Beautiful translucency Diana, love it.

Lovely light coming through the daffodils, beautiful work 😀💕

Love that rich blue glass vase Diana. Nice work.

Smashing confident watercolour, Diana.

Wonderful watercolour

Thank you Louise, Carole, Jim, Linda, Cesare and David. Lovely to hear from you The almost black / blue if the vase was a real lesson in observation of to tonal value. I particularly like daffodils in it because of its shape and colour
