Full of wonderful, dramatic, tonal values Diana. Superb shadows and splashes of light.

It's a beauty Diana. Lovely light and shadow.

This is gorgeous Diana. I think I can tell you enjoyed painting it.

Most impressive Diana, terrific style I have to say…

These Sunflowers look superb and the stems too, nicely projected with the cloudy water beneath, very well painted Diana! Yes, good to grasp the moment to paint as it adds a new dimension and discovery too! Keep up the fine work!

Thanks so much Paul The most significant part of it was the enjoyment I felt. Also I was able to listen to an audiobook at the same time Thank you Carole. Although I have t had much experience with oils, so much of the basics overlap evey medium. Thank you Denise. There is something mor ‘alive’ in this version. Hard to describe. Thank you Marjorie. Thank you Angela I really enjoyed reading your thoughts. Very encouraging

Lovely bold strokes and colours give this great vibrancy and life

Beautifully painted, Diana - interesting composition and I especially like those bold foreground shadows.

Thank you Heather. I was really had a wonderful few hours

Thank you Martin. My natural instinct is to be bolder with oil paint / brushes Thank you Jenny. The watercolour and oil versions have individual qualities

I got the urge to get the oils out today. My work is rather sporadic at the moment so when I get the urge, I go for it!! Thoroughly enjoyed a few hours working in oils with surprisingly little mess
