Like this Alan. The more you look into this little sketch the more you see.

Beautifully done Alan it’s one of the best yet .

One of my favourite river views in London and beautifully painted

That is superb, Alan!! Agree with Heather as it such an iconic view!

"Scribble", he says! It's an evocative painting, right down to the movement of the water, solidity of the bridge, movement of the tug, distant landmarks, those touches of colour in the foliage, perfectly judged. "Scribble" already...!

Great sketch, as usual!

I agree, one of your best!

Beautifully done!

This is really good Alan.

My favourite so far Al!

Wonderful work Alan I love the contrast between the bridge line and the skyline buildings.

Moving up west! Now ! I don't know what Alfred P. Doolittle would say. Other than cor that's a goodun.

I've really enjoyed each posting in this series Alan.

I like how you call this a scribble Alan, looks considerably more than that to me.

I love how delightfully subtle this is and yet how much there is to see.

Love the sharpness of that bridge against the loose background and water.

Lovely sketch with the iconic St Paul’s in the background

Love this Alan- very subtle but says so much

Superb ‘scribble’ Alan. Really beautiful.

Another beauty Alan.

Another lovely atmospheric sketch

My thanks to everyone for their support and comments…

Like those subtle colours a lot, and that little bit of ink definition -just the right balance.

A lot going on when one takes time to look. Really like it.

Love the contrast between the world of nature and that of industry. It works so well because of the excellent balance and composition Alan.

I like the moody misty feel of the limited palette.

So much to see in this Alan - I love how you create a sense of distance.

Wow, gorgeous work
