I like it a good strong piece of work Alan

Another winner Alan love the way you create space and what you leave out. Terrific

Durham is dramatic at the best of times & this pic heightens it to another level, structural, hard natured & honey coloured medieval town. Very expressive. Excellent.

Love the architectural shapes in this, with the bridge and its reflection taking straight in to explore. The dark mixes well with the light Browns, a super composition, well painted as always.

From the county I always view such a scene and being Alan's always rewarded.

Another great strong piece- most impressive Alan.

You're so good at these complicated skylines Alan. This is excellent, all those buildings without too much detail just different tones and added light.

A terrific painting indeed Alan! Wonderful shapes and colours!

Dramatic and good Alan!

In your easily recognisable style, Alan, good, bold work.

Love the tones and colours Alan, you really break the skyline down into managable components but retain the main points of architecture Super!

Another superlative work, Alan. Your skies are always such an attractive feature of your paintings, and I particularly like the transition of warm to cool hues in this one. There's also such a wonderful range of marks and lines in this piece that adds tension and interest to the painting as a whole.

Thank you all so much, truly welcome comments.

Excellent. Somehow the trees make it!? Am I strange?

Not at all Gudrun, I agree with you.
