The best yet Alan! Love the feel of this one, it has a hushed and still feel that you only get after a covering of snow. The highlights of the gate and fence and in front of the tees on the skyline are fabulous.

Part of my 'paint a sky a day' theme, painted en-plein-air this morning, sat in the tailgate of my estate car. Just a coating of snow around so I painted this landmark known as The Beacon, a dense crop of woodland, with Goodson's farm in the middle distance. Turner Blue paper, 11 x 15''.
