Love the limited palette and coloured paper Alan. Gives the painting such cohesion and the different strengths of shadow give depth

Pen and wash with a touch of white chalk for highlights, taking care not to scatter them all over the drawing! Rembrandt A3 Toned Desert Brown pad, 180gsm. Lovely stuff to draw on. Worked up from my sketchbook scribbles from my time in Spain.
