Vibrant and colourful. Excellent.

This has a lovely quality to it and the colours are great

Lovely work Allan.

It looks as though Spring is coming, Alan 🥳

Really like this one Alan a very appealing landscape painted with lovely loose marks, using a colour palette that captures the attention.

Fabulous vibrant sky, Alan.

Fabulous colours!

Very nice airy feel Alan. Like your breezy sky and the darks in the landscape contrasting against the golden foreground,

And another one! Love the colour harmony here ✨

So super colourful, Alan. Fantastic!

I really like this one, it just stands out and says look at me! Great work Allan.

Woohoo.....this is a lively one Alan! Love it.

Great work as always Alan, didn't instantly recognise it as one of yours but on a closer look of course it is!

Very nicely painted Alan.

Lovely Alan. Make the most of this view! It will be covered with houses soon!!

Great light in this Alan! Love the colours too.

Great, fresh colours and broad, lively marks, Alan.

Well painted perhaps a little more abstract than impressionistic

Thanks everyone for your comments, greatly appreciated! John, thank you but it’s impressionist and definitely not abstract!

Wild and wonderful Alan.

Love the vibrant colours in this Alan

Wonderful sky Alan, love the way you've developed the foreground too.

Beautiful balance of colours, tone, brushwork and composition Alan. Great work!

I love the brush marks in this, the sky is glorious.

Love your bold use of colour Alan.

My impressionistic approach to a subject that I’ve painted numerous times, and from a variety of vantage points. It started off as a rapid sky study for a later feature, using broad visible brush strokes to indicate both movement and urgency. I later chose to develop the landscape, but keeping it loose and energetic in harmony with the sky and devoid of detail. Jackson’s board 40 x 50cm.
