Lovely watercolour sketch Alan I really like it

Very impressiv, Alan. Love the composition and the limited colours.

Super watercolour Alan. Contrasts and colouring great

Like that a lot!

Just lovely Alan, I will be looking forward to the December e-newsletter.

As always, first class Alan

Marvellous Alan, you have so many strings to your bow!

This is excellent Alan and a great example of watercolour at its best

Nice work Alan, and a great choice of seasonal palette.

Really enjoying this series of paintings Alan - some really interesting brushwork in the foreground and excellent detail in the centre.

Full of light and colour.

Someone should film you, making videos for Youtube or for commercial distribution - they'd be a lot better than some films I've seen. Full use of dry-brush, and big, generous sky washes, and one of the least wishy-washy (a pet hate) watercolours I've seen in a while.

I agree with Robert, watching you work on Youtube is a great idea!

Gorgeous sketch, with wide range of tone!

Beautiful - it really does remind me of Seago’s work-

Another beauty Alan, the ‘simple’ bold sky and the dry brush work, both gift it a lift.

Thats a cracker Alan, I look forward to seeing your watercolour demo.

Terrific, Alan. I shall check out that demo in the December newsletter.

Wonderful painting. Alan, super range of colours in your tight palette.

I’m enjoying your watercolours Alan, very bold use of the darker tones and great trees as usual. A very striking painting.

Lovely painting Alan,

Beautiful watercolour Alan.

Love your ink and watercolour sketches, Alan.

What a stunner Al! Wonderful contrasts, very sharp.

Absolutely love this, and the colours used, Alan

Excellent watercolour, on first glance I thought “Roland Hilder” I like everything about this pure watercolour, I’ve not come across your work before so will be looking from now on.

Oh yes, Alan! Beautiful work as ever.

Lovely depth with the shading and fading

Another autumnal watercolour sketch, loosely painted with some initial Indian ink brush work. There is a 4-part watercolour demonstration of Faversham Creek scheduled for the December e-newsletter, which I hope a few of you will find interesting. Cotman paints on Arches 400lb NOT paper 11 x 15in.
