Brilliant, love the highlights they sparkle Alan. Just a few brushmarks make those shapely barges.

Very powerful image Alan, works well.

Well, I was just about to post my attempt at a monotype...following your instructions on the forum.....but after seeing this, I don't think I'll bother Alan. Mine is a pathetic example of the technique to be sure! This however, is masterful!

Alan I don't know how you do it absolutely beautiful

You've really brought this scene to life with colour, silhouette and highlight, all beautifully handled.

I love the play of light on the water.

This is fabulous Alan, the white makes it shining.

Wow this is amazing alan

Excellent work Alan full of drama and has real impact , It also reminds me of some of Rowland Hilders work using gouache

This is a lovely one Alan. Bright and beautiful!

This is absolutely breathtaking, Alan. There's so much life and vitality in the scene, with atmosphere in spades. Superb work!

Love it, love it. I can;t wait until I can try this out.
