Wonderful. Crisp painting. Lovely light. I think the title is a bit long. It blanks out the painting on you gallery page.

A superb painting, Bob. I love the way you have handled the shadows on the road and trees and indicated some grasses with a knife or the wrong end of your brush. The bright field and the glimpse of houses beyond draws the eye into the picture.

Good you got round to it eventually- a lovely painting, where you've captured the light beautifully.

I did a watercolour of this view on cartridge paper in my sketchbook, intending to do a proper one later on...here it is quite a few years later. Locals would know the view, as it can be seen from a small parking area just outside a Garden Centre that used to be called Golden Acres.
