Very cool looking Fiona but lovely and watery.

Looks very good to me Fiona ☺️

It's lovely Fiona. And a good idea too - looking forward to seeing further installments.

Wasn’t familiar with Wesson, so had to google him.. yes a very good homage with your signature style and colour palette visible too.

Great use of limited and subtle colours and tones.

I love the contrasts and marks you create Fiona, another wonderful sky too.

Lovely use of the medium Fiona.

Very well done, Fiona with your own interpretation of the Wesson style- lovely!

A lovely painting, just as a watercolour should be.

Good one, Fiona, lovely colours and like the white spaces.

Thank you ever so much everyone for your kind words, Mr. Wesson did the hard work.

Another atmospheric watercolour Fiona.

A truly lovely painting Fiona.

Lovely dramatic painting Fiona, especially that sky. Super palette!

This is a lovely loose watercolour Fiona. It all works really well with a great sense of depth.

I like the freedom of this one Fiona.

Thanks very much Stephen.

Lovely colours and expression

Feeble attempts, pish! Wesson would have been proud of you. I do like your darks in this.

Thank you Lawrie, for commenting on my post. Lol…..I would be proud if he would have thought so Robert! The two colours used for the darks are….old Holland ultramarine deep and burnt umber. Thank for commenting Robert.

12”x9” watercolour on Arches. Februarys instalment of my one a month “after Wesson” exercise for the 40th anniversary of his passing. I hope he won’t be turning in his grave looking at my feeble attempts!
