I am loving these pen and ink sketches you are doing, lovely stuff !!

Such a great pub to visit if you’re down that part of the Thames… lovely sketch Paul, you’ve captured the essence of the place!

A characterful scene - good sketching, Paul!

Good sketching Paul

You’ve captured the history Paul, and I like the subtle dash of red on the sails.

Thank you everyone for the kind comments, always appreciated.

Your pen and ink drawings are so good Paul. Love the contrasting tones and the subject matter.

Oh, to have a pint there in the days of Thames Barges ! You've really captured the period mood.

Really nicely done.

It is great that doing these scenes prompts ideas for more.

Great sketch Paul. I remember there was an Admiral’s Cup yacht with the same name.

Thank you Bob for your comment and the additional information.

A6 pen, ink and pastel sketch of the oldest pub on the Thames. I’ve set the scene in the 1920s but the pub is still going strong I really enjoy these little sketches, quit relaxing sat doing them in the evening. They don’t take long and I find that I think of more scenes as I am working.
