How lovely to be in such a place Paul. A very inspiring watercolour.

The dreaded greens… but well handled Paul!

Superb landscape painting.

A beauty Paul. Like how you’ve put it together from your imagination.

Thank you all for your comments they are appreciated. I was concerned about all the greens Alan but wanted to tackle them, think it’s worked out well.

That is beautiful, Paul - you have contrasted the hills so well!!

Really lovely Paul

Lovely work Paul.

Lovely work, Paul.

Super sense of depth, and good composition Paul.

I think you've coped with the greens really well Paul, it's hard to put a lot of green in and make it look different, lovely picture

oh how wonderful landscape - great Paul!! 💚

A nice landscape Paul, well observed buildings too.

Good job Paul!

Love this one, and I like the title too !!

Thank you all for your very kind comments.

A beauty, Paul - so uplifting to see a sunshine-filled Dales landscape!

A lovely landscape Paul.

Very well painted Paul.

Love the sense of distance. Reminds me of wandering around France on our regular walk.

Fabulous scene Paul. You’ve mastered those greens, giving light and shade to indicate the contours of the ground.

Thank for all your kind comments, this id one of the most enjoyable and relaxing paintings I have done for a long time . Feel a bit of a cheat as it just seems to have come to with little input from me, one of those rare paintings that seems to go right from the first dip in the paint, just flowed where I wanted it to go .

You've created a lovely painting Paul

Gorgeous painting Paul, lovely bright greens. Good idea to promote the Forum in your description.

Russell and Sandra thank you for your comments they are appreciated.

I love this Paul, it looks a beautiful part of the country, you’ve really captured it well

Thank you Anne it’s an imaginary scene based on the Yorkshire Dales, one of my favourite places being a Yorkshire Lad I would of course say that .

Watercolour landscape in my usual format A4 in A3 mount , imaginary scene used several photos of the Dales in spring to make this scene. I know Wordsworth wrote about the host of daffodils in the Lakes but the buttercup and wild flowers of the Dales are spectacular. This is on the Forum , always with a look at the forum for information, advice and inspiration.
