Very well painted Paul, that tree is excellent and the composition and colours superb.

Great painting Paul and captured the autumn scene so well. 🙏👍

This has a rather good composition, everything just gels together and superbly painted Paul.

This is absolutely beautiful, love everything about it !

Very good Paul those leaves on the trees are so good and I really want to walk through that gate!

Such an inviting painting Paul. Love the lead in from the open gate and your trees are very impressive.

It's lovely Paul!

Beautiful trees and composition - excellent, Paul!

Sandra, Jenny and Anne thank you for you kind comments.

Beautifully done Paul.

This painting has warmth and invitation to it. I like those gouges in the trunk and the "sucker trees" growing from the tree root. Leaves are like lace work. Beautiful fall painting.

Better and better, its the practice Paul very well done.

Thank you Lynne and John I do appreciate your kind comments.

This is lovely, gorgeous tree

I agree with you regarding thinking something isn’t going to work, then ‘sometimes’ magic when it comes together! Certainly did here Paul.

Good work Dixie. I agree with George and the others

A4 in A3 mount, watercolour with white pen and pastel, the process of painting this is on the forum as a WIP . I find landscapes quite relaxing to do, this has taken a while due to other commitments , I’m not good at taking time over a painting because I loose interest and become bored with it . It still amazes me how part way through we seem to loose the scene then it comes together suddenly.
