Biography

Hi. Like a lot of people I have dabbled for years with painting. Mainly with watercolours in the old Art Tutor days, but more recently pastels and acrylics. My focus has tended to be animals up until now. However this year I have started to explore water-mixable oils and the concept of still life although the urge to paint animals remains. So far I am delighted with the water-mixable oils; the absence of strong smells and the ease of cleaning up. I am still very much feeling my way, but over the years I have picked up a lot and it seems to be serving me well with this new medium. Do have a look at my gallery which I will gradually populate.
