That's lovely.

Lew , David , Gillian and Sylvia thank you for you comments.

The limited palette works very well Dixie and adds to the ethereal quality of the painting.

Very beautiful Paul, so delicately painted.

Thank you Mark , Spencer and Heather for your kind comments. I thought the limited palette was the thing to use, very small amounts of Cobalt blue, Alizarin Crimson, Indigo and Payne’s grey, four colours I do use quite regularly and are a must in my paint box.

Lovely results in the time Paul, good effect.

What a great regular exercise Dixie, a really good idea, and a lovely misty result, really pleasing.

A most effective misty scene!

There's always something magical with early morning mists Paul and you have nailed this one.

A 23 x 34 cm watercolour. One of my exercises to loosen up my hands and by chance my mind as well. I have a set time of twenty minutes to complete the exercise and will do this two or three times a week . No idea what I will do nice I’ve taped the paper to the board I also try to use a limited pallet. This one was completed in just under twenty minutes, fortunately my granddaughters wasn’t her with the stop watch.
