Many thanks John , I did actually feel quite emotional at the time hence the unsteady hand and some wobbly stems etc.

A6 watercolour of poppies I was inspired to paint this whilst watching the DDay events on telly this evening. As an ex servicemen I found it very moving and it brought back both sad and happy memories of friend who didn’t come home .
