Like that a lot, Paul - one of the most attractive towns on the south coast!!

A great deal of detail and thought comes through this lovely painting Paul.

I like the panoramic format - think you have done really well with it!

I think you should be very pleased!

I too like the panoramic image, and this is a good one.

I like this alot too Paul, and love the panoramic view giving alot of detail

Love the format and all the beautiful background buildings Paul.

There’s a lot in it and the painting is consistent. Pleasing image

Such a peaceful, gentle painting.

Thank you for your comments , David, Chris, Sarah, Heather, Lew, Denise , Michale, Cheryl, Carole , Martin and Sylvia they are really appreciated and quite unexpected. I felt a little unsure of it but feeling a lot more confident, might tackle something similar again .

Well done, Paul. You said that my 'Stourhead' painting reminded you of a Turner. I have a nice print of the painting that he did of this same view. Oxford is one of my favorite cities and this is a great view.

Super wide format and a lovely rendering of Oxford. Haven't been there in ages.

Richard and Andrew thank you for your kind comments they are appreciated.

I missed this one Paul, a very acceptable piece of work, not an easy subject! My effort from your photo should be going into the magazine in the February edition I think.

Watercolour 42x15 cm of Christchurch Oxford as seen from Christchurch Meadows. From my own photograph added the cows in the long grass Long horn cattle . The grass was shorter but I decided to have it longer and it would look a bit earlier in the year. My first attempt at this type of scene , some mistakes and a lot of learning.
