Through the woodland

A very nice piece of work, and a great piece from the imagination...it's good when you 'see' things clearly in your nut. I understand the losing enthusiam bit, happens to me all the time (and most of us, I guess.) It's a bit like the tide going in and out as far as I'm concerned. At the mo, I'm waiting for the tide to come back in, but managing a few doodles.

Thanks Lew , I do like your discretion of the tide etc , your a superb artist and your so called doodle are extremely well done. Just keep at it mate and treat us to your sketches

A lovely scene, Paul, the secret of imagination.

It's lovely whatever the source!

Sometimes it's good to leave a painting for a bit and then come back to it with renewed enthusiasm. Well done Paul, lovely, very idyllic.

Really excellent piece Paul!

Lesley, Heather , Karen and Alan thank you for you very kind and encouraging comments I do appreciate them .

Beautiful work Paul, especially those trees.

A gorgeous, imaginative scene Paul. Looking past the gate at the receding fields works so well. Love the flowers in the foreground.

A24x 32 cm watercolour painting of a path through the woodlands. I’m saying this is imaginary but to be honest I’m convinced I’ve seen the actual scene , it’s been in my head for several weeks. I did start it a week or more ago but due to getting a spell of loosing enthusiasm it was put aside . I wish I could find out if the scene actually exists, but it won’t bother me too much as I will assume I have a great imagination.
