Thoughts of spring.

Lovely Paul with the shards of light coming through the trees.

One of my favourite subjects beautifully displayed. The colours are superb

Lovely and subtle Paul and a very nice thought! Am painting a blossom tree myself at the minute so there must be something in the air!

Lovely bluebell woods with the light shining through the trees.

Denise , Elaine,Sarah and Christine thank you for you kind comments. I’m sure that we all start to think of the spring at this time of year Sarah, , blossom on trees, new plants appearing in the garden , bluebell all evocative of the better light and warmth. Mind you it’s not really been like winter most days of late.

Lovely, Paul - looking forward to seeing the bluebells in the not too distant future.

Really beautiful colours in this. And nice detail in the foreground.

That’s great Paul. I like the way you have got the rays of light permeating through the trees. I’m looking forward to seeing bluebells in the woods and your painting has taken me there.

Beautiful thoughts Paul!!

Excellent colours and a great treatment of the light in the trees.

A24x32 cm watercolour, done in 40 minutes, based on Ashridge woodlands a National Trust property know for it’s bluebells. I enjoy doing these time limited paintings as it stop my habit of fiddling, the think I will just do this tendency . I also have the habit of trying to put every detail in once again the time factor stops that.
