Great drawing, Paul

Really good drawing Paul, I love drawing trees!

Thank you Willie and Alan, for you kind comments. There is some pleasing about drawing tree, I love both painting and drawing them, I also love working with them in the woodlands it’s very relaxing some how.

I like this Dixie. What a great tree. To my eye this has an old woodcut look to it...great.

Lew you have the eyes of a hawk. Over the past month I have been doing a lot of studying old prints etc for a talk I’m going to give later in the year. The talk is about the countryside and it’s development of the century’s. When drawing this I was much taken with the wood prints in a lot of the old books, and wanted to copy the techniques as much as possible.

Great mood and sense of time with this drawing, Dixie. The tree and action is very believable. Super impression. Bri

Really good Paul. As I am finding out drawing trees can be very absorbing.

Thank you roan and Richard for you kind comments. It surprises me how time passes.

Sorry Brian the spell check changed your name .

Very nice theme!

I find trees really challenging- you've captured these brilliantly

Thank you Lea and Julie for your kind comments.

So sentimental, and homely. I really like the aura of this one.
